Look no further for your chimney related needs. Recent strong wind blew down our chimney chase cover and everything on top of it. I contacted 5-6 chimney sweepers/company and roofers. I received some crazy quotes until I was referred to Pro-tech. They were very responsive and told me they can repair the parts I found instead of making new ones. Saved us a lot of money. John and Shawn arrived on time and fixed everything quickly. We are really pleased with them. They are one of few honest businesses left.

We have 2 fireplaces in the house. One we never use and one we use all the time. Decided to get both chimneys cleaned as it hasn't been done in many years. The technicians came out on time and were very professional and efficient. They had recommended that we get a cap on the brick fireplace so they will be coming out next week to finish. We don't use our fireplaces so we decided to get the chimneys capped.
The receptionist was pleasant and set up an appointment promptly. The crew came out and worked quickly and let us know that the chimney was cracked and needed an extra seal. I braced myself for some big number, but it was $100 more.
The work was quick and efficient and I was so happy to get it done. They also do dryer exhaust cleaning and installation, which is something I need so I'll be back!

John's Installation of my new copper chimney cap replacements was awesome. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. John and his team were not only professional but also incredibly knowledgeable. I was dreading this, but it was effortless on my part - no worries. I have a challenging 3 story house; the entire process was seamless. I will try to attach a couple photos. Remember, these copper caps will darken over the next year, so any scuffs are part of the process with copper. I highly recommend Pro-Tech!

I couldn't be more thankful that I stumbled upon Pro-Tech Chimney Sweep. John and Sean showed up and were really great to work with. Both were friendly, direct with their assessment, and zero pressure sales tactics.
Long story short, I dealt with a different company and they had me thinking my chimney was going to fall apart and sent me a quote of over $6,000.
John's assessment was basically, "it's fine- here a few things you'll want to repair over time" I was pretty shocked at the difference and told him about the previous quote and he helped explain the BS the other company was trying to pull. I ended up paying an extremely fair price for the inspection and a quick repair and was all set.
Pro-Tech will be my go to for any chimney services from here on out. They're great. During the winter they can get a bit busy so schedule early. They're absolutely worth it.

Fantastic experience with John and Peggy and the rest of the team. Pro-tech came highly recommended from friends that recently got their fireplace set and install and when I saw it, I had to get it for my home. Best addition to the house, hands down, especially during the holidays. They made it to easy from start to finish. Two trips to the house, first to install and second to put in the white birch logs.
John went above and beyond to paint the temporary logs for me so I could have it for Christmas because the white birch I ordered were delayed coming in. Real nice folks, pleasure to work with.
Now I have fire at a click of a button!

Pro-Tech was the first company to respond to my request, and first to answer all of my questions. Working with Peggy to schedule an appointment was very easy. John and team came to the house right on time. They were in and out very quickly, did a full sweep, and also secured my chimney lid/cap on top of the roof. Performed a full inspection, inside, outside and on top of the roof. The previous company I used would not check the chimney integrity on top of the roof, so I would never go with someone that fails to properly inspect your chimney. Pro-Tech did it all very efficiently and quickly. I would not hesitate to use them again for my needs.

John got up there and took pictures to show me and we decided to put a chimney cap on and he also took the time to silicone all the possible leaks. Not one drop of rain came through on the last rain. I highly recommend! So glad I found them on Yelp. The owner, John, arrived on time. He and his assistant, Sean, spent approx 4 hours getting my chimney up to speed without taking a break. Good clean up. I got 3 other bids and he was not the lowest bid, but his price was very competitive. I ultimately hired him because I liked the fact that he does the work himself, has a no nonsense attitude, seasoned, down to earth, not pushy, reasonably priced. Now I have a repaired chimney crown, finally a cap and spark arrestor, a gas bar and repaired smoke chamber. I can use my chimney with peace of mind. John is a hard worker! We had a clogged dryer ventilation, and John was fast and efficient. Took care of the clog, by going on the roof (2 story) and was able to de-clog our vent. Really quickly. Probably 20 min tops. I would definitey recommend him to others. Now our dryer works perfectly.

I based my decision to hire this company on yelp reviews, granted one of them is not worth reading because she is based out of New Jersey, I would highly recommend this company. John, the owner and Jack his assistant, were professional and efficient and definitely clean. I also voiced a concern about my air/heating vents, and John didn't even think twice, took a ladder and climbed in the attic. He will be cleaning all the vents as well shortly after the Holiday season. Not only did these two awesome guys clean my 2 chimneys, they set up my gas fire log, added more embers and sand and left me a key ( to tun on gas) free of charge. I wouldn't even look any further, this company is great!!! Definitely will call them back!!!! Thank you John and Jack!!!!

Cleaning dryer vents is my specialty. There is only one set of tools that I find indispensable on every dryer job, the Pro-Spin Vent Cleaning outfit. No other tool set is more versatile, more durable or more thorough. It's the tool set you always knew should exist, but couldn't create for yourself (believe me, I've tried). For sheet metal ducting, ABS plastic or flexible ducting, this is the outfit that cleans like no other tools have ever done before, and without damage to the vent materials. My hat is off to the Pro-Spin guys.
